Planning Ahead for Climate-Adapted Forests

Canadian forests have undergone many changes due to climate change over the last few decades. With increasing observations of beetlekill, wildfires, drought and diseases that affect our forests, it's more critical than ever to plan ahead for forests in the future that are resilient to climate change pressures. To address this, we have invited speakers from across the country to share about their projects related to climate-adapted tree seed, assisted species migration, Indigenous-led tree species conservation, and more.
